Rationale | To assist research into, the causes, the histories and the effects of ethnic, cultural, religious and sexual bigotry and animosity. To explore how such intolerance can be combatted - and co-existence promoted. |

Application Criteria |
Applications are open to all Early Career Researchers (as deifned by the Australian Reserach Council) working in Australian tertiary institutions, public sector employees, community sector employees and people undertaking private research.

In determining the grant the committee will consider:

Conditions | Successful grants awarded in the 2014 June round must be spent by December 2015. The Freilich Foundation must be acknowledged in all publications and all public presentations (seminars and conferences) of the research outcome from the grant. Information concerning all publications must be communicated to the FF. Information concerning the successful recipient and the funded research may be published on the FF’s website. By January 2016 the grant recipient must submit a report which includes actual and projected outcomes, and a full financial acquittal. |
